Do
you have any idea how many marketing messages you see on a daily basis? Yankelvich
Research has found out that the average number of ads we see every day range
from 3,000 to 20,000. Persuasive messages are everywhere we turn and most of
the time we don’t even realize we are being targeted by marketers. Even though they
are following us everywhere we go, colourful posters and dynamic commercials do
not grab the average adult attention, as much as it does children’s. Through
the years people have learned to ignore messages, due to the huge amounts of
information we are receiving daily from different sources. Therefore, a
successful campaign would be one that does not only grab viewers’ attention,
but engages the individual on multiple levels. Sending the right message to the
right person, in order to satisfy their personal needs and desires mixed with emotional
appeals and entertaining factors are just few of the characteristics of a successful
advertising campaign. A good campaign doesn’t just offer the right product to the right
consumer. It gets them emotionally stimulated to buy or at least investigate
the advertised product or service.Sunday, April 6, 2014

I can barely believe the number of ads, maybe I should try browsing without AdBlock on. Perhaps it is counting only "being in the presence of an ad", and not actual seeing?
ReplyDeleteI think nowadays the most powerful ads are the ones that touch the consumer on an emotional level amd as u said a good campaign is nit selling the right product to the right consumer.I think it is selling your product to as many consumers as possible not only within a conpany's target market but also outside of it.
